Introducing The Inside Scope Borescope Blog
Today we are proud to announce the creation and launch of The Inside Scope Borescope Blog by the team at RF System Lab.
Welcome to our blog!! We are happy you are here, and we hope to keep you coming back for the latest news in Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) in general and video borescopes in particular.
For those of you that are new to RF System Lab, here is more about us:
RF System Lab is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of articulating video borescopes. Our primary goals are to provide consistently strong customer service along with state-of-the-art borescopes that save our clients time and money, while increasing safety, efficiency and quality. Our customers typically focus on non-destructive testing (NDT) or the repair and maintenance of complex machinery and equipment.
Our flagship product is the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope. The VJ-ADV is the borescope of choice for hundreds of companies across many industries, including aviation/aerospace, oil & gas, power generation, manufacturing, and more.
RF System Lab’s North American headquarters is located in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan.
RF System Lab Exhibits at Nearly 40 Industry Events Each Year, and Will Update You on the Who, What and Where of These Events Throughout the Year
The RF System Lab team is constantly on the road exhibiting at a diverse range of trade shows. The Inside Scope blog will be a running resource to let you know where we are headed, what is happening while we are there, and post-show recaps and discussions.
The Inside Scope Blog will Review Industry News
The blog-writing team at RF System Lab will be keeping an eye on developing news that affects borescope users and the companies they work for. For instance, Space X had to delay a recent flight to do one more round of borescope inspections.
We will Talk About Borescopes and Their Many Uses
We will also profile some of the less common borescope uses we have encountered. For instance, see our post on Horse Trachea Borescope inspections (and more!)
Thank you for stopping by to learn about The Inside Scope Blog. Be social with us. We have made it easy to share stories with the major social networks. We also welcome your comments. Let us know what you are thinking, and let us start a conversation.

How many conferences do you know of that have gone for 89 years? Probably not many. Society of Petroleum Engineers’ Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) has done it. 89 years – Amazing!
ATCE 2013 is fast approaching. Attendees are ready to flock to The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.
RF System Lab is proud to send our own Jess Kuznicki along with our industry leading articulating video borescope cameras to this year’s event.
Stop in and see Jess at booth 2960. He will be there:
Monday, September 30, 2013 from 9:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 9:00am – 5:30pm
Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 9:00am – 2:00pm
Why would you attend ATCE 2013? The ATCE 2013 website gives you these great reasons:
“For the past 89 years, ATCE has been the leading technical conference in the E&P world. It brings together emerging technologies; state-of-the art innovations; leading-edge companies and organizations; and thousands of engineers, scientists, managers, and executives.”
Make the best of your time at ATCE. Please stop by and meet with Jess so he can introduce you to RF System Lab’s VJ-ADV borescope cameras. Talk with Jess about how the VJ-ADV can save you time and money on your remote visual inspections. You will get a chance to handle the borescopes, and learn more about which model will be ideal for your particular inspection needs.
See you in New Orleans!!
AVM Summit is the creation of Aviation Maintenance Magazine and is touted as “Bring Together The Worlds Aviation Community”. The event features a line up of speakers discussing developments in MRO, in products, systems, technologies and software, and aviation maintenance to grow revenue and reduce cost. AVM Summit 2013 USA will take place in Orlando, FL on November 21st and 22nd. You can still register for the event on the Aviation Maintenance website.
RF System Lab will be attending the event with aviation borescopes being demonstrated by our own borescope expert, Jess Kuznicki. Aviation maintenance technicians have gravitated toward the VJ-ADV from RF System Lab due to it’s portability, easy of use, and high-end features. The VJ-ADV is well suited for engine inspections, FOD inspections, airframe/component inspections, and more making the VJ-ADV video borescope a highly beneficial and versatile tool for aircraft inspection.
Come join us at AVM Summit 2013 USA in Orlando, FL! Visit booth #31 to see the VJ-ADV first hand and let Jess answer your remote visual inspection questions!
If you can’t make it to the show this year, but would like to learn more about how the VJ-ADV video borescope can help save you time and money on inspections visit www.rfsystemlab.us.
