RF System Lab had a record month for VJ-Advance video borescope sales in December, 2014. We are proud to announce an abundance of new inspection camera customers in a wide variety of industries. Clients in December include companies working in fields such as food and beverage, manufacturing, aviation, power generation, aerospace, and more.
We are proud to have surpassed their sales goals by adding the companies listed below, as well as many other impressive industry leaders, to its roster of satisfied customers in December.
One of our customers, representing the manufacturing industry, is Eaton. Eaton provides energy-efficient solutions that help their customers in over 175 countries effectively manage electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical power more efficiently, safely, and sustainably. Eaton is using the VJ-Advance articulating video borescope to perform quality checks by internally inspecting engine components for the automotive industry. The VJ-Advance’s ease of use and high-resolution photo and video capabilities made the justification of the purchase easy.
Many of our latest customers came from the aviation industry; numerous as a result of the company’s successful experience exhibiting at the 2014 NBAA Annual Conference. Two of those customers were New Mexico Airlines and Thunder Airlines of Canada. New Mexico Airlines, the newest, most environmentally friendly airline fleet in the Southwest, is utilizing the VJ-Advance for PT6 engine inspections. We at RF System Lab also ordered the PT6 guide tube for the aviation company, which is a perfect fit for the 3.9mm
VJ- Advance articulating video borescope. Thunder Airlines of Canada, a company located in Thunder Bay Airport that handles scheduled public flights, private charter flights, and cargo flights, purchased the ergonomic VJ-Advance inspection camera to confidently complete power plant and airframe inspections. We are actively growing a video borescope client list in Canada. In fact, two other companies located at Thunder Bay Airport are VJ-Advance customers: Pilatus Centre Canada and Wasaya Airways.
Red Stripe Beer, maker of a well-known Jamaican Lager beer also recently purchased the VJ-Advance. Red Stripe uses the high-quality VJ-Advance video borescope for inspecting Caterpillar Reciprocating Engine Gen Sets. Red Stripe uses the Gen Sets to supply power for their production facility, meaning they have no room for machine downtime. Therefore, they required a videoscope that would perform preventive and corrective maintenance with ease, which is why they selected the VJ-Advance articulating video borescope. The lightweight, portable VJ-Advance, with its 360-degree joystick-control articulation, is the perfect tool to help keep the power running.
Representing the Power Generation industry, we are proud to have the continued business of Exelon Corporation, the nation’s leading energy provider. Exelon has been using the VJ-Advance video borescope since 2009 at multiple nuclear and coal power production plants. We are grateful to have earned their trust and partnership as a supplier of four-way articulating video borescopes. We provided another VJ-Advance for Exelon in December 2014 to assist in completing internal valve inspections.
We at RF System Lab would like to extend a thank you to its newest clients, as well as all additional clients not listed here for making December a memorable sales month. If you would like to demo the VJ-Advance video borescope, you can sign up for a no-cost, no-obligation demo program. The Exploration and Production Industry’s premier drilling event, the IADC/SPE Drilling Conference and Exhibition is coming up next week at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The conference has gained a reputation for being an excellent forum for discussing challenges that affect the E&P industry and this year’s conference is no exception.
The conference website states that the technical programs, keynote and plenary session will address many of the challenges the E&P industry is facing in these unprecedented times. The plenary session will feature a panel of outstanding speakers who will express their opinions and ideas on the rapid evolution of unconventional oil and gas development and the corresponding demands associated with these large-scale, factory style projects.
In the oil and gas industry, time is money. Our product line, the VJ-Advance line of articulating video borescopes, helps to save both by allowing professionals in the industry to do a visual inspection of internal components without a costly and time-consuming teardown.
RF System Lab will be one of more than 70 exhibitors showcasing at this event. Stop by booth #828 to meet Jess Kuznicki, sales consultant from RF System Lab starting at 10am on Tuesday, March 4th and test the ground breaking VJ-ADV Video borescope yourself.

The ASNT Annual Conference, put on by the American Society of Nondestructive Testing, took place in Charleston, SC during October 27-30, 2014. The conference featured over 165 exhibitors; all sharing the most cutting edge products in Non-destructive Testing (NDT).
Among those products was the ground breaking VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope from RF System Lab, which is making waves as a top choice for remote visual inspection in a wide variety of industries. The VJ-ADV was among many other remote visual inspection tools, which is an excellent indication that there is a definite need for high-quality internal inspection equipment.
RF System Lab’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Duncan White, and Sales Consultant, Zack Wessels, were onsite at the ASNT Annual Conference and had a great time meeting with current customers like Watco and Sulzer. They were also fortunate to have a booth location with excellent neighbors to connect with. One company they wanted to make sure to recognize, whose booth was across the aisle from the RF System Lab booth, was Labino, a leading manufacturer of UV and white light products.
All in all, the ASNT Annual Conference was an event that was well attended and should not be missed by any NDT or Quality Control professional. RF System Lab has already booked space for 2015 and is looking forward to making even more connections.
If you were unable to attend the ASNT Annual Conference and missed your chance to test the VJ-ADV, you can still try one out at your own facility! RF System Lab is proud to announce new VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope customers in a variety of industries. Our newest customers include companies from the aviation, power generation, automotive and manufacturing industries.
We are excited to add the following companies to our roster of satisfied customers for the month of September.
One our customers last month has purchased VJ-ADV video borescopes in the past, but recently put in an order for an additional three units. Representing the manufacturing industry is Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP). BRP, a Canadian company, established in 1942, was looking for a high-quality borescope to conduct inspections for quality control. They required a borescope that was both durable and flexible, which made the VJ-ADV, with its 360-degree joystick-controlled articulating distal tip and flexible insertion tube, a perfect fit.
From the Automotive Industry, Lexus Automotive is another company among RF System Lab’s newest customers. Lexus Automotive, maker of luxury sedans, SUVs, hybrids, and performance cars, required a low-cost, high-quality borescope to assist them with paint line inspections to ensure that no residue build-up occurred. The VJ-ADV, with variable LED lighting, was an essential addition to their tool kit.
Another new VJ-ADV video borescope user is Jamaica Energy Partners, the largest of the three independent power providers operating in Jamaica. They recently purchased the VJ-ADV video borescope to inspect power generation equipment, specifically Caterpillar diesel engines. The battery-operated, portable, lightweight VJ-ADV was the perfect solution for their inspection needs.
We are excited to have a leader in the aviation industry, EPPS aviation, as a new customer. EPPS Aviation, the South’s premier corporate and general aviation maintenance company, required an articulating video borescope to perform inspections on PT6 and JT15 engines. They decided to purchase the 3.9mm VJ-ADV, which perfectly fits a PT6 standard guide tube, to assist them in their repair efforts.
We would like to extend a thank you to our newest clients, as well as all additional clients not listed here. If you would like to demo the VJ-Advance video borescope, you can sign up for a no-cost, no-obligation demo program. For more information on RF System Lab, please visit the RF System Lab website or call 888-747-6526.
For the third year in a row, RF System Lab will be exhibiting at the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia (Better known as the Turbo and Pump Symposia). The Symposia, which is taking place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX from September 22-25, 2014, brings together professionals from the petrochemical, process, chemical utility, and rotating equipment manufacturers from all over the world.
This year’s event features tutorials, case studies, lectures, courses and exhibits showcasing the latest services and products for the industry. As stated by the event website, “the Symposia is an outstanding value for users concerned with maintenance, performance, troubleshooting, operation and purchase of rotating equipment.”
Borescope expert Casey O’Tool will be representing RF System Lab in the exhibit hall at booth #1335. He will be offering free demos of the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) articulating video borescope and answering questions about how the joystick-controlled, 4-way articulating VJ-ADV can assist maintenance professionals to confidently complete pump and rotating equipment inspections. RF System Lab understands that in the petrochemical and power generation industries, the cost of downtime — whether because of an equipment failure or scheduled maintenance – is measured in hours, not days. Whether you work on compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers – even mud motors – the VJ-Advance’s numerous features can make your job faster and easier.
This year’s Turbo and Pump Symposia is offering a free pass for the exhibit hall, which you can sign up for right here. For more information about the Turbo and Pump Symposia, visit the conference website.
