Casey O’Tool, RF System Lab’s borescope expert, returned from his third year exhibiting at the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia (Turbo & Pump Symposia) with one thing in mind: “I can’t wait until next year!”
The Symposia, which took place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX from September 22-25, 2014, brought together professionals from the petrochemical, process, chemical utility, and rotating equipment manufacturers from all over the world.
RF System Lab had a booth in the packed exhibit hall again this year, and Casey O’Tool said that the attendee traffic did not disappoint. “This show is one of our most successful. The attendees and fellow exhibitors are all experts in the rotating machinery maintenance/engineering industry, which is a great fit for the VJ-Advance video borescope,” stated O’Tool.
O’Tool said that Turbo & Pump Symposia is a great chance for him to catch up with current customers. He was able to chat with DOW Union Carbide, a company that is very satisfied with their purchase of three VJ-Advance video borescope units. In addition, O’Tool was able to make plenty of new connections. One of the most memorable connections was with Flowserve, a leader in the development of innovative pumps, seals and valves. O’Tool was glad to meet their courteous representatives and is appreciative for the opportunity to earn their business.
Turbo & Pump Symposia is an event that RF System Lab looks forward to every year. It is an extremely well-run tradeshow, and the location could not be more ideal. RF System Lab is excited to introduce its new and improved website. The new RF System Lab website was designed with the user in mind and has been created using the latest site design platform, allowing optimal presentation on all mobile devices and web browsers. Whether you’re viewing the site on a widescreen, a tablet or a smart phone, it will cater to your device so that you can easily access essential product information.
RF System Lab’s new site provides visitors a chance to effortlessly view product testimonials, borescope inspection photos, and detailed product descriptions and images. Another benefit of the site is the Success Stories page, which provides case studies and testimonials from satisfied RF System Lab customers. Categorized by industry and application to allow users to easily find the most relevant information, there are borescope case studies pertaining to: aviation/aerospace, automotive, industrial pumps, and more.
The new website provides a fresh, updated look and feel for all of the information from the previous site, in addition to a variety of new features. With the improved functionality and user-friendly navigation, visitors are able to search for anything from VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope product details to case studies with ease. Drop-down menus are clearly marked, and application menus include industry-related graphics to ensure that visitors efficiently find the information they’re seeking.
Another notable change to the Applications pages is that all descriptions have been modified to include even more industry-specific information, enabling current and potential borescope users to read exactly how the VJ-ADV can assist with the application that applies to their field. At the bottom of a number of application pages is a link to the relevant case study with VJ-ADV video borescope inspection photos, providing even more validation of the benefits of remote visual inspections (RVI).
In addition to the impressive attributes already listed, the new website’s homepage features the VJ-ADV video borescope with an animated distal tip designed to represent the joystick-controlled, 360 degree articulating camera available on all VJ-ADV models. Another addition to the RF System Lab homepage is the free demo unit button, which directs users to a brief form submission that allows them to request a free demo of the VJ-ADV video borescope without having to fill out endless pages of personal information.
Social icons for all of RF System Lab’s active networking platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Google+, and YouTube, are clearly displayed on all web pages, allowing visitors to reach out and connect with RF System Lab. Users will be quickly redirected to the social site of their choosing by just clicking the appropriate icon at the top of the page.
