More than 27,000 key aviation professionals including current and prospective business aircraft owners, manufacturers, and customers gathered in Las Vegas to attend NBAA’s 2015 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition.
The 2015 NBAA convention featured over 1,100 indoor exhibitors including RF System Lab’s Jess Kuznicki and Zack Wessels at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This event also included nearly 100 business aircraft on display at Henderson Executive Airport and dozens of education sessions.
Jess and Zack had a great experience presenting the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope to new and existing customers in the rapidly growing small business jet engine industry. Attendees were able to see the easy to use VJ-Advance video borescope in action with hands-on presentations.
There’s no other aviation show that matches this massive event. It was the strongest edition of the annual show since 2008 with guest speakers including FAA administrator Michael Huerta, Oklahoma governor Mary Fallin and Rep. Dina Titus (D-Nev.). There were even some VIP guests including new business aviation advocate and country musician Dierks Bentley and “Miracle on the Hudson” pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger. The booth was extremely busy and provided a great opportunity to network with extremely qualified customers.
We will see you in Orlando, Florida at the next NBAA – Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition: November 1-3, 2016.

Early this month, Aviation maintenance professionals took over Portland, OR for the NBAA MMC (Maintenance Management Conference). The conference brought together high-caliber educational programming, many networking opportunities, and an exhibit hall full of products and services specifically for business aircraft maintenance and support.
RF System Lab‘s Jess Kuznicki, an expert in the topic of borescopes for aviation, showcase the VJ-Advance articulating video borescope in the exhibit hall and was able to meet many extremely qualified individuals; a sign of a great show. In fact, the RF System Lab booth was located right next to West Star Aviation, a current customer.
“NBAA MMC has all of the aviation-industry professionals that you’d ever want to talk to…all under one roof. It’s the perfect show for us,” stated Kuznicki.
This year’s NBAA MMC boasted a high-record attendance, which could be because of the excellent educational sessions offered, in combination with fun, social opportunities. Gulfstream’s Casino-themed social event was a huge hit and a great way to catch up with fellow business-aviation enthusiasts.
RF System Lab will be in attendance at next year’s show. If you missed the chance to visit the RF System Lab booth at the 2015 NBAA MMC, you should still try out the VJ-Advance video borescope at your own facility – free of charge. Sign up for RF System Lab’s no cost, no obligation demo program so that you can try out the VJ-Advance video borescope on your own equipment.
The only thing better than getting to visit Florida in April is getting to visit Florida with approximately 1,000 leaders in the aviation maintenance industry. Next Monday, April 21st is the first day of the premier event for aviation maintenance professionals: the 2014 NBAA Maintenance Management Conference.
According to the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference website, ” The 2014 NBAA Maintenance Management Conference in Tampa, FL brings together high-caliber educational programming, networking to provide relationships that last throughout your career, and a dynamic exhibit hall specializing in product and service providers for business aircraft maintenance, service and support.”
Although the conference is not open to attendees until Tuesday, the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference kicks off with a Pre-conference Golf Classic Tournament on Monday, April 21st. Other events and networking opportunities at the conference include informative speaker sessions, a Wednesday night reception at Splitsville bowling alley, and an impressive exhibitor hall with around 200 aviation-related booths (a number that has drastically increased over the last few years).
RF System Lab is showcasing the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope at the conference. After attending in the past, RF System Lab sales consultant Edward Thomas explained that this is a conference where VJ-ADV is a must-see. Thomas stated: “This is an excellent opportunity to speak with Directors of Maintenance to hear what issues they are currently facing, and discuss how the VJ-ADV Video Borescope may be used to help solve those problems.”
The VJ-ADV is the ideal tool for aviation maintenance professionals. The full, four-way articulation is joystick-controlled and responds perfectly to operator inputs. With the ergonomic layout and pistol-grip design, all the key functions – photo capture, video recording, LED brightness – are easily accessed with one hand, leaving your other hand free to hold the insertion tube. The high resolution, flip up monitor is bright and easy to see, and the crisp image quality delivered by the camera is second to none. Whether you are an aircraft owner, maintenance technician or flight department manager, you should stop by booth #405 to test the VJ-ADV and meet with Edward Thomas to see how this high-quality video borescope can work for you.
Edward Thomas is looking forward to networking with professionals in the industry. Visit him and demo the ground-breaking VJ-ADV at booth #405 starting at 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 22nd at the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference.

RF System Lab had a memorable experience exhibiting at the NBAA Annual Conference for the third year in a row. Borescope expert and seasoned RF System Lab sales consultant Jess Kuznicki recently returned from the show, which took place in Orlando, FL at the Orange County Convention Center. The NBAA Annual Conference is the fourth largest tradeshow in the USA, so there was plenty to see and experience.
Despite the gigantic tradeshow hall, Jess was able to reconnect with many current customers and the RF System Lab booth was a popular stop. Many of the companies and individuals who came by to check out the versatile VJ-Advance video borescope informed Jess that the RF System Lab booth was on their “must-see” list. Visitors were impressed with the joy-stick controlled, four-way articulating insertion tubes, which come in a variety of sizes: 2.8mm, 3.9mm, and 6.9mm. One of the most popular insertion tube diameters for turbine inspections, a popular application in the aviation industry, is the 3.9mm diameter VJ-Advance. This insertion tube diameter fits perfectly in Pratt & Whitney guide tubes, making PT6 engine inspections stress-free.
When he was not connecting with current and potential customers at the RF System Lab booth, Jess enjoyed getting to listen in on speeches and presentations by industry leaders and had a great time networking at a social event at the Yard House.
Many attendees had the chance to test the VJ-Advance at NBAA, but even if you were not in attendance you can still try one out at your own facility! RF System Lab offers a no cost, no demo program, which you can sign up for right here. To find out more about the free borescope demo or to chat with a borescope expert, you can call the RF System Lab office at 888-747-6526 or visit the RF System Lab website.
NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition was recently named the fourth largest trade show in the USA. The event, also known for being the world’s largest and most important business aviation event, will draw over 25,000 aviation professionals and feature over 1,000 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services in the industry.
RF System Lab will be among the 1,000 plus exhibitors, presenting their impressive line of VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) joystick-controlled, four-way articulating video borescopes. The VJ-ADV, with insertion tube diameters of 2.8mm, 3.9mm, or 6.9mm is the ideal tool for remote visual inspection needs in the aviation industry. Whether aviation professionals specialize in inspecting turbines, recips, airframes or avionics, a high-quality, portable video borescope like the VJ-ADV is an excellent investment.
Borescope expert Jess Kuznicki will be representing RF System Lab at booth #4525 and will be providing free demos of the VJ-ADV. Jess will also be available to answer questions about how the battery-operated, 23oz VJ-ADV video borescope is a crucial addition to any aviation professional’s toolkit.
