Electric Power 2015 took place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL last month. While it is not one of the largest tradeshows that RF System Lab attends, this year’s exhibit hall was packed full of power gen professionals – both attendees and exhibitors.
RF System Lab’s Borescope Expert, Jess Kuznicki, was onsite presenting the VJ-Advance video borescope at booth #346 and had excellent feedback about this year’s show. He got the chance to connect with many end users and was happy to report that while the show is called “Electric Power,” it is a popular show for gas & nuclear power professionals as well. He was able to catch up with one of our current customers, including the representative from Duke Energy.
Another highlight from thsi year’s show was the networking event put on by Industrial Info at The Capital Grille, which was a great chance to chat with other exhibitors and attendees in a less structured setting. The complimentary meal and beverages were a nice way to end a busy day on the tradeshow floor.
If you were unable visit RF System Lab’s booth at Electric Power to test out the VJ-Advance video borescope, we’d like to offer you a chance to try out the VJ-Advance at your own facility — for free! We’ll see you at Electric Power 2016!
Next week, two Power-Generation shows take place in the Midwest: Reliable Plant and Electric Power. RF System Lab is excited to be exhibiting among renowned companies from all over the world at both of these shows; showcasing the VJ-Advance video borescope to power-gen professionals.
Reliable Plant, which offers attendees the ability to gain insight in multiple areas of industrial lubrication, oil analysis and reliability, is taking place at the Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland, OH on April 21-23, 2015. The conference offers workshops, learning sessions, networking nights, and an exhibit hall packed with the latest technologies in power generation. Chad Parker, RF System Lab Sales Consultant, will be representing us at booth #822. He will be showing maintenance and reliability experts how the VJ-Advance articulating video borescope is an ideal tool for preventative and corrective maintenance.
Meanwhile, Electric Power will be taking place April 21-23, 2015 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. This will be RF System Lab’s second year at Electric Power, which promises to bring together more power generators in one place than any other conference & exhibition. Jess Kuznicki, RF System Lab borescope expert, will be presenting the VJ-Advance video borescope to power professionals at booth #346. Interested attendees can test out the ergonomic VJ-Advance and learn more about how adding internal inspections to a quality check-list can save their company time and money by helping to avoid unplanned outages.
We’re looking forward to exhibiting at both Reliable Plant and Electric Power. If you’ll be at either of these shows, make sure to stop by the RF System Lab booth to learn more about enhancing your preventative and corrective maintenance efforts with remote visual inspection.

Power-Gen International is the largest, most respected power generation event in the world. The 2014 event took place December 8-11, 2014 in Orlando, Florida and showcased over 1,400 exhibitors, 22,000 power professionals from over 90 countries, and more than 200 of the industry’s top speakers. RF System Lab’s Senior Sales Consultant, Casey O’Tool and Sales Consultant, Chad Parker, were fortunate to be one of the 1,400 exhibitions presented at the event.
Casey and Chad were onsite to provide Power Generation Maintenance professionals the opportunity to test out the ergonomic VJ-Advance video borescope. Professionals were able to see first-hand how the video borescope’s numerous features, such as joystick-controlled 360 degree articulation and on board camera and video capture, were perfect to assist with preventative and corrective maintenance efforts – both of which are crucial in any power generation facility.
This was RF System Lab’s third year attending Power-Gen International, and they are already looking forward to attending the 2015 show. If you were unable to connect with one of our sales consultants at this tradeshow, check RF System Lab’s 2015 tradeshow schedule to find out where you can test out the VJ-Advance video borescope in the future.
Electric Power 2014 took place last week at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Attendees included renowned companies from all over the world, with whom Jess Kuznicki, RF System Lab sales consultant, had a chance to meet and network.
Electric Power 2014 promised “New opportunities. New ideas. New connections. New Orleans.”, which is exactly what they delivered. Kuznicki reported that while representing RF System Lab onsite and providing demos and presentations of their flagship product, the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope, he was able to not only create numerous new connections, but also catch up with current customers. Even the placement of the RF System Lab booth was great. The floor plan enabled RF System Lab to be located directly across from Sterling Boiler and Mechanical, a company out of Indiana who purchased the VJ-ADV video borescope only six weeks prior to the show.
Kuznicki mentioned that one of the highlights of the show was interacting with a large number of heat exchanger and boiler tube inspection professionals. The VJ-ADV provides all of the ideal features and functions sought after by maintenance experts in those industries, such as four-way, joystick controlled articulation, image and video capture capability, and outstanding optics and image quality. Being able to allow individuals working in the power generation industry – especially those performing heat exchanger and boiler tube inspections – to test the VJ-ADV at Electric Power 2014 was an excellent opportunity.
Kuznicki is already in touch with many of the industry professionals he got the chance to network with at Electric Power 2014 and has even sent out some free demos for the VJ-ADV in his first week back in the office. Needless to say, RF System Lab has already signed up for Electric Power 2015.
If you were unable to test drive the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope at the Electric Power 2014, we would like to offer you a free trial. To make the decision process easy, we offer the industry’s only no-cost, no-obligation demo program so you can evaluate the VJ-Advance line of video borescopes in your facility doing your inspections, before you decide to buy.

Power-Gen International is taking place December 9-11, 2014 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. This large-scale event promises to feature over 20,000 power professionals from more than 90 countries, more than 200 of the industry’s top speakers, and at least 1,400 exhibiting companies. Among those impressive exhibits is the RF System Lab booth, featuring some of the most advanced technology in remote visual inspection: the VJ-Advance articulating video borescope.
The innovative VJ-Advance video borescope is a high-quality inspection camera at a price that power professionals can afford. An essential tool for any type of power gen facility, the VJ-Advance line of articulating video borescopes helps maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and enhance productivity in all facets of the power generation industry; whether you work in the fossil fuel, nuclear, or renewable energy markets. Remote visual inspection is a quick, easy, and non-destructive way to assess turbines, generators and pumps, feed-water heaters, condensers and heat exchangers, primary and secondary piping, motor operating valves, gearboxes, reactor vessels, and other internal components without the costly, time-consuming disassembly of machinery and systems to locate trouble spots.
Power generation experts can test out the VJ-Advance video borescope at Power-Gen International by visiting booth 4879. Borescope experts, Casey O’Tool, and Chad Parker will be on site to answer your remote visual inspection questions and to help attendees find efficient methods to internally inspect their machinery. Exhibits open at 11:30am on Tuesday, Dec. 9th.
