For more than 30 years, the IADC/SPE Drilling Conference and Exhibition has proven itself as the leading drilling event in the E&P world.  SPE: The Society of Petroleum Engineers in partnership with the IADC: The International Association of Drilling Contractors, hosts several events every year, alternating annually between Europe and North America and recently expanding programming to the Middle East and Asia Pacific.  These events accelerate progress in the oil and gas industry by connecting forward-looking technical presentations to open discussion forums.  The technical program enables oil and gas professionals to see through today’s challenges and work collaboratively toward solutions that create a stronger future for an increasingly energy-driven world.  RF System Lab has attended various conferences hosted by the SPE since 2011, and 2016 marked the fourth year in attendance.

Chad Parker, one of RF System Lab’s borescope experts, was happy to enjoy the warm weather in Houston, Texas to share the groundbreaking VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope with IADC/SPE event attendees. He had the opportunity to speak with existing customers about their experience with the easy to use, handheld, fully-articulating VJ-Advance video borescope and was excited to present new customers who stopped by the booth an opportunity to get a hands-on demo of the VJ-ADV in 2.8mm, 3.9mm, and 6.9mm diameters. The VJ-ADV offers remote visual inspection capabilities to petroleum, oil, and gas professionals.

RF System Lab will be attending several conferences and exhibits around the country, so if you missed out on your hands-on demo feel free to see us at these shows:

MRO Americas – Dallas, TX: April 5-7, 2016 – Booth 3927

Cast Expo – Minneapolis, MN: April 16-19, 2016 –  Booth 1848

Electric Power – New Orleans, LA: April 18-20, 2016 – Booth 421

MOGA – Traverse City, MI: April 21, 2016 – Booth 28

The 2016 IADC/SPE Drilling Conference takes place March 1-3 in Fort Worth Texas.  This conference brings together exploration and production professionals and emphasizes advancements in worldwide drilling operations that address problematic challenges and deliver improved performance.

RF System Lab borescope expert Chad Parker is looking forward to attending this leading drilling event to showcase the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) articulating video borescope.  The VJ-ADV is easy to use with joy-stick controlled articulation and high-resolution, on-board image and video capture. Chad will be onsite in booth 424 to answer questions, provide information and hands-on live demonstrations with 2.8mm, 3.9mm, and 6.9mm diameter scopes.  The VJ Advance offers versatile, remote visual inspection capabilities to petroleum, and oil and gas professionals.

The IADC/SPE is comprised of two organizations.  The International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) is dedicated to enhancing the interests of oil and gas and geothermal drilling contractors. Members of the IADC own most of the world’s land and offshore drilling units and drill the vast majority of the wells that produce the planet’s oil and gas. The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a not-for-profit organization whose members engage in energy resources development and production.

Conference Chairperson Bill Ambrose stated “The technical, keynote, and plenary sessions will each provide insights to navigate the current low commodity price environment of our business. The distinguished speakers in our plenary session will explore the theme of “Out with the Old, in with the New” to share ideas about how we will need to adapt and evolve our technologies and practices. Topics will include well efficiency, capital deployment, and new technologies to extract energy sources. Our keynote speakers will bring perspectives from within our industry, as well as from other industries, to address the critical issues we face today.” For more information about the IADC/SPE Drilling Conference, visit their website. RF System lab will be attending many tradeshows throughout the year with live demonstrations.

If you can’t meet Chad at the show but are interested in reviewing all of the features of the VJ-Advance for yourself, contact us about our no-cost, no-obligation demo program by visiting our website or call today: 231-943-1171.

The power industry’s leading conference, Electric Power, is taking place April 1st-3rd at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Renowned companies from all over the world will be in attendance at this year’s conference, and RF System Lab is excited to be among the high-caliber attendees.

Electric Power 2014 promises “New opportunities. New ideas. New connections. New Orleans.” Some of these new opportunities and ideas include attention-grabbing keynote sessions with Brian Jancus, Director of Energy Strategy at Microsoft Corporation and Rod West, Executive Vice President & Chief Administration Officer at Entergy Corporation. The conference will also feature an executive round table and ten different learning tracks that will discuss upcoming trends on topics such as renewable energy and environmental strategy.

RF System Lab sales consultant, Jess Kuznicki, will be on site to present the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope to Electric Power attendees and is looking forward to this year’s event. When asked about the upcoming conference, Kuznicki remarked: “With the Spring outages beginning, I’m excited to see how the VJ-Advance can help provide quicker turnaround time to get everyone’s power stations up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

The VJ-ADV is an ideal fit for a power generation conference such as Electric Power. A high-quality borescope is an essential tool for any power generation facility, mainly because power generation almost always involves circulating fluids, rotating equipment and high temperatures. At Electric Power 2014, let RF System Lab’s Jess Kuznicki demonstrate how the compact, portable and easy to use VJ-ADV can make the task of power generation inspections stress-free. Stop by booth #347 for a chance to demo the VJ-ADV and experience the key features – including four-way, joystick controlled articulation, image and video capture capability, and outstanding optics and image quality – that are desired by power generation maintenance technicians.

RF System Lab is excited to exhibit at this year’s Electric Power. Stop by booth #347 to meet Jess Kuznicki, sales consultant from RF System Lab starting at Tuesday, April 1st and test the ground breaking VJ-ADV video borescope yourself.

The Exploration and Production Industry’s premier drilling event, the IADC/SPE Drilling Conference and Exhibition is coming up next week at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The conference has gained a reputation for being an excellent forum for discussing challenges that affect the E&P industry and this year’s conference is no exception.

The conference website states that the technical programs, keynote and plenary session will address many of the challenges the E&P industry is facing in these unprecedented times. The plenary session will feature a panel of outstanding speakers who will express their opinions and ideas on the rapid evolution of unconventional oil and gas development and the corresponding demands associated with these large-scale, factory style projects.

In the oil and gas industry, time is money. Our product line, the VJ-Advance line of articulating video borescopes, helps to save both by allowing professionals in the industry to do a visual inspection of internal components without a costly and time-consuming teardown.

RF System Lab will be one of more than 70 exhibitors showcasing at this event. Stop by booth #828 to meet Jess Kuznicki, sales consultant from RF System Lab starting at 10am on Tuesday, March 4th and test the ground breaking VJ-ADV Video borescope yourself.
