The only thing better than getting to visit Florida in April is getting to visit Florida with approximately 1,000 leaders in the aviation maintenance industry. Next Monday, April 21st is the first day of the premier event for aviation maintenance professionals: the 2014 NBAA Maintenance Management Conference.
According to the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference website, ” The 2014 NBAA Maintenance Management Conference in Tampa, FL brings together high-caliber educational programming, networking to provide relationships that last throughout your career, and a dynamic exhibit hall specializing in product and service providers for business aircraft maintenance, service and support.”
Although the conference is not open to attendees until Tuesday, the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference kicks off with a Pre-conference Golf Classic Tournament on Monday, April 21st. Other events and networking opportunities at the conference include informative speaker sessions, a Wednesday night reception at Splitsville bowling alley, and an impressive exhibitor hall with around 200 aviation-related booths (a number that has drastically increased over the last few years).
RF System Lab is showcasing the VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope at the conference. After attending in the past, RF System Lab sales consultant Edward Thomas explained that this is a conference where VJ-ADV is a must-see. Thomas stated: “This is an excellent opportunity to speak with Directors of Maintenance to hear what issues they are currently facing, and discuss how the VJ-ADV Video Borescope may be used to help solve those problems.”
The VJ-ADV is the ideal tool for aviation maintenance professionals. The full, four-way articulation is joystick-controlled and responds perfectly to operator inputs. With the ergonomic layout and pistol-grip design, all the key functions – photo capture, video recording, LED brightness – are easily accessed with one hand, leaving your other hand free to hold the insertion tube. The high resolution, flip up monitor is bright and easy to see, and the crisp image quality delivered by the camera is second to none. Whether you are an aircraft owner, maintenance technician or flight department manager, you should stop by booth #405 to test the VJ-ADV and meet with Edward Thomas to see how this high-quality video borescope can work for you.
Edward Thomas is looking forward to networking with professionals in the industry. Visit him and demo the ground-breaking VJ-ADV at booth #405 starting at 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 22nd at the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference.

The VJ-Advance (VJ-ADV) video borescope took a trip to Florida last week for the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference. Edward Thomas, RF System Lab Sales Consultant, was on site at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, FL to present the VJ-ADV and network with aviation maintenance professionals. We had a chance to speak with Edward Thomas about his experience at the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference, and he had nothing but complimentary things to say.
Thomas started off by commenting that one of the best parts about the conference is that the attendees are always extremely knowledgeable about their industry, which means they also have a high level of familiarity with borescopes. He really enjoys being able to discuss the numerous features offered on the VJ-ADV models at a more detailed and in-depth level.
One of Thomas’s favorite events at the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference was the party at Splitsville, sponsored by Gulfstream. He said that, in addition to free drinks, food and bowling, this party was a unique and fun way to meet other exhibitors and attendees. Everyone was randomly put on a bowling team, which allowed them to connect with one another in a more casual atmosphere.
A few notable connections that Thomas made at the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference included Embraer, a well-known and respected aircraft manufacturer, and Duncan Aviation. Duncan Aviation, one of the largest, family-owned maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities in the world, discussed with Thomas about how their Rapid Response team could benefit from the quality assurance and efficiency offered by a video borescope such as the VJ-ADV. Rapid Response teams are expert in-field technicians who offer engine and APU support and services. In the case of Duncan Aviation, the Rapid Response team is available 24/7 to troubleshoot for grounded aircrafts around the world.
If you were unable to test drive the VJ-Advance video borescope at NBAA Maintenance Management Conference, we would like to offer you a free trial. To make the decision process easy, we offer the industry’s only no-cost, no-obligation demo program so you can evaluate the VJ-Advance line of video borescope in your facility doing your inspections, before you decide to buy.
